My Favorite Travel Design Accessories
Lo & Sons Travel Bag
This is beyond one of the best travel purchase’s I’ve ever made! When I wanted to upgrade from my typical designer backpack to a bag that not only was an everyday computer bag, overnight carrier and travel friendly, I found my perfect companion at Lo & Sons. I did a lot of research on bags that could convert to many uses and none stood out quite like this O.G. style. It has a beautifully made interior (I chose the purple lined with black outlay), the exterior is very durable and stain resistant, and it even fits an older 15 inch Macbook which is a slightly thicker than most laptops from 2018 and up. Highly recommend this bag!
Field Notes
Like most other designers, field notes has always been a favorite. It’s easy to throw in my bag, its small and it’s supportive of the design community. This little notebook was made popular by the well-known Aaron Draplin who has been collecting them for years and carrying them to conferences like Adobe Max, MyEmma and more.
A little history note: Did you know that these notebooks were originally for American farmers to track seed, tractor, and other agricultural notes? Checkout their line of limited editions throughout the years! Click Here
Samsung Wireless Earbuds
I finally stepped into 2021 with my wireless earbuds. It has been life-changing to not be tied to a computer by a wire. I have an android phone and galaxy watch so I purchased Samsung wireless earbuds. It has been quite easy to connect them all to my other apple products ie: macbook pro. I highly suggest to get a pair whether it is Apple, Samsung or any other wireless product. Click Below.
Samsung Galaxy Watch
Get a notification watch! It is going to help so much going throughout your day especially sitting at a computer 8 hours at a time. It is also so nice having notifications on my watch instead of constantly looking at my phone or computer to see if it is important enough for an immediate response. Between the wireless headphones, and this watch I’ve freed myself from a desk and carrying too many items throughout the day. Click Below.
Tripod
I like to carry a small tripod with me when I travel especially with more zoom meetings than ever before. It’s easy to pack it into my O.G. tote and set up anywhere when I’m ready to get rolling on meetings, videos, or social! It has multiple adjustment points, vertical or horizontal shot, and an easy to pack-up bag keeping it altogether. Click Below.
Ring Light
As a creative on the go constantly, sometimes lighting isn’t the greatest in hotels, coffeehouses or other dimly light locations. I like to travel with a small ring light attachment to a tripod that I can pack-up in my travel tote and it’s easy and convenient. It has various light tones from warm to cool and two stands included. I’ve really enjoyed this small portable version. Click Below.
